Just had a huge burger
Man I just had the biggest burger today at a diner I found in Astoria. It was ginormous – 24 ounces of lamb and beef shoulder meat. I couldn’t finish it all and had to doggy bag over half of it.
To my suprise, even though the burger was huge (the size of my plate) it was extremely juicy and tasty. Despite being 1 1/2 – 2 inches thick, they were able to make my burger perfectly medium rare. Only the outside crust of the burger was charred, everything under like an 1/8 inch was pink. Yummy.
And this burger came with the best set of onion rings. I highly recommend it.
